Last October, BioGem Express AG received its naturemade star trader license. At the same time, in collaboration with our Danish partner, Biogas Express A/S, two of the Danish biogas productions with whom we work closely became naturemade star certified.
The naturemade star trader license is a great achievement for the launch of our company as it guarantees our clients legal security by using our naturemade star sublicence.
It is necessary to underline that the process to obtain the label is challenging and laborious with many obstacles to overcome. Working in close cooperation with the VUE and the lead auditor, TÜV SÜD, we managed to gather the compendium and all requested documents in a short period of time despite the Covid-19 crisis.
BioGem Express is now underway to certify additional biogas plants under naturemade star licence in order to expand our premium biogas portfolio.
Naturemade star gives clients a high level of environmental proof of sustainability due to strict rules such as the choice of feedstock and its collection’s perimeter in addition to green energy used for production plants.
